BMW Classic took again 4 cars out of the museum and shipped them to the south of France. A great mix of classic or modern cars and a bunch of pro flatland bmx riders were gathered in a 1910 Eiffel industrial architecture. For the occasion we created a bespoke artwork mixing these cultures: BMW and BMX. From a very cinematographic Artwork representing the Eiffel structures reflecting on a BMW Z3, and the projected shadow of a BMX rider, we developed a capsule of 3 products, including a Poster, a T-Shirt and a Skateboard Deck. For the occasion, BMW Classic organized the Dreitag Events: a succession of 3 meetings, giving to BMW 3 series owners access to some spots of both BMW Museum & Welt. Hence, three Fridays in the season, BMW E21, E36, E46 and E90s were displayed at the BMW Museum & BMW Welt to celebrate this birthday. Hundreds of 3 series owners came to Munich to park their car, have a chill evening, sharing their passion while admiring this incredible scenery until the sun went down. And each one of them got a print of these posters. The 11.07 Dreitag's Artwork was representing a E21 standing in front of the BMW Museum, under warm July sunset, while the 19.09 Dreitag's Artwork was displaying a E36 parked in front of the BMW Welt in a typical nineties Memphis sunset. They decided to bring the 1976 BMW E9 3.0CSL Frank Stella Artcar and a E36 320i STW around a skatepark in München. The idea was clear: Bringing together the seemingly incomparable to unveil the profound commonalities between two seemingly disparate realms - skateboarding and racing. Looking closer and behind the different aesthetics we discover the audacity, dedication, ambition, and constant pursuit of perfect execution that drive both disciplines. "THRASH'EM: Rhythm of Speed" was more than just an art exhibition. Tt was a creative space inviting exploration of the unique mindset of "Just-Sending-it". It was in this state of mind that we developed a capsule, with two original Artworks sharing the same concept: mixing connoisseur references from both worlds into one. Mounting a BBS E55 Centerlock wheel on a skateboard truck for an "uchronia" imagining a past where BBS would have produced a Magnesium Skateboard line. Or bringing the Thrash'em event back into the seventies with a "RaceAndDestroy" Street Part. Both presented as the cover of a famous Thrash'em magazine. For these illustrations we decided to push the "Details Perfection" cursor to the max, as painful and exhausting as it was. Simply because we had to stick to this world of adventure, risk-taking and perseverance capturing the shared essence of two passionate sports. Since then it's happening every year. You may know it already, and if you don't you should: it's simply Europe's biggest Enduro Motorcycle Race, taking place on the beach of Le Touquet-Paris-Plage in the north of France. 3 Days. Around 600 000 spectators. more than 2 700 competitors racing modern and classic motorcycles on 13km of sand. Fabruary 2025 was Enduropale's 50th Edition. For the occasion, Maxime Flahaut had the idea to organise an event to celebrate that birthday. Not building only a simple ephemeral museum, but a real cult space celebrating riders' community in its whole esthète dimension. An Art-Déco architecture based on the Baie de Canche, gathering historical Enduropale winning machines with timepieces, clothing, art, craftmaship; everything related to what we could define as a lifestyle. Max called it "La Galerie Des Sables" as an hommage to the 1975' very first edition which, back then, was baptized as the "Enduro Des Sables". This was the start of a great collaboration, trying to feed his appetite for aeshtetism, quality and perfectionism with Artworks used for his brand identity and Products such as this T-Shirt.
